Based on valuable archival fabric from the 1980s, carefully preserved at a weaving mill, this piece was crafted in collaboration with artisans from Kiryu, a renowned weaving region, reinterpreting the patterns and colors in a modern way.
It uses rayon with a beautiful luster for the warp threads and high-quality cotton for the weft threads.
The combination of different materials creates suppleness, moderate three-dimensionality, and a rich textural appearance.
The fabric subtly changes its expression depending on how the light hits it, exuding an elegant presence.

Inspired by archival designs and fabrics from Kiryu weaving, we intentionally minimized the pattern's presence to create a piece that blends seamlessly with modern attire.
The design is kept minimal to emphasize the depth of the jacquard's expression, which emerges in the light and subtly dissolves in shadow.
Draping is placed around the neckline, leaving space and allowing the fabric's movement to create rich nuances. By cutting the fabric on the bias, it follows the body's movements, creating a supple silhouette.
