Aube, MARNO's long-awaited leather bag, was born from a thorough commitment to the brand's core values: materials, manufacturing, and timeless design.
The carefully selected leather is RUSTICALF from TANNERIE D' ANNONAY, a prestigious tannery specializing in the production of high-quality box calf leather from French raw hides.
ANNONAY's factory is located in a valley near the foothills of the Alps, close to Switzerland, in the mountainous region of Auvergne, France, allowing them to consistently obtain the high-quality water essential for tanning. Combining ancestral craftsmanship with modern technology, they supply leather to the world's top luxury brands due to its consistent quality.
Calfskin, considered a rare and top-grade product, is characterized by its extremely fine and soft fibers, and a delicate, supple touch that feels as if it adheres to the skin. It undergoes a glazing process, and as it ages, the hand-polished wax accumulates, enhancing its elegant and deep luster. The fine ripples on the surface, known as "mizu shibo" (water grain), offer a beauty that changes its appearance depending on the viewing angle.
Both the raw hide and processing are done in France, and the sewing is meticulously finished in a factory in Japan. Please enjoy the texture of the leather as it becomes more familiar with use.

This first leather bag is simple yet perfect for everyday use, a new staple for MARNO.
It is luxuriously crafted from rare French calf leather. It is smooth, very soft, has a moderate grain, and is resistant to scratches. To maximize the appeal of the material, the design is deliberately minimalist. The form was fine-tuned down to the millimeter, expressing MARNO's characteristic strength and flexibility through the softness of the leather and the curves of its lines.
