Alma wool coat

A double chester coat made from high-quality double-faced pile mosser fabric, carefully woven in Bishu, one of Japan's leading textile producing regions.

The material uses Super 120's merino wool from Australia.
It boasts a supple texture and beautiful luster, characteristic of fine, thin wool fibers.
The fabric surface undergoes a time-consuming and meticulous napping process, resulting in a soft, plump feel and a smooth, rich texture.
While offering a feeling of being enveloped in warmth, it achieves a light and sophisticated wear. By using top yarns that delicately blend multiple colors, it creates a depth of color that cannot be expressed with a single shade.

This is a made-in-Japan material created by the skilled artisans of Bishu, from spinning to weaving and processing. Not only the material, but every detail of the tailoring is meticulously crafted, resulting in a supreme garment.

Original fabric specially ordered from a long-established manufacturer in Bishu, Japan's largest wool textile producing region. By weaving different colors on the front and back, we achieved a depth of color that cannot be expressed with a single shade.

The tailoring also incorporates subtle details. To leverage the inherent lightness of the fabric, each connecting part is finished with a reversible seam, and the facing parts are carefully peeled off one by one from the two overlapping fabrics.
Although this is a time-consuming process, it results in a surprisingly light and comfortable wear, despite the voluminous material.
Unusually for a reversible coat, a lining is added to ensure smooth arm entry and comfortable wear. A different material is used on the underside of the collar, and buttons are added so it can be worn with the collar standing up. This design allows for subtle changes within a simple look.
