Woven in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture, a production area for domestic denim. Uses antique and natural yarn spun in a domestic spinning mill. The dyeing is done using rope dyeing, which produces a rich fading effect, at a dyeing factory in Hiroshima Prefecture with over 100 years of history.
Pure indigo dark-colored yarn, dyed core-white, fades to a beautiful blue with repeated wear and washing, allowing you to enjoy the texture of vintage denim.
The "snow" denim uses natural cotton yarn for the warp and black-dyed yarn for the weft, resulting in what is commonly called "snow denim," characterized by sharp twill lines.
The processing is simple, involving washing to stabilize shrinkage and softening to add suppleness, allowing the quality of the material to shine. These MADE IN JAPAN jeans allow you to enjoy the unique fading and馴染む (najimu, meaning "breaking in" or "conforming") process.

Design point

The second installment of the highly anticipated MARNO denim, simple jeans packed with carefully selected details. After much trial and error, the new design, which has a different look from the popular "Lula denim," is finally complete!
Contrasting stitching and slim belt loops create a subtly sophisticated mood. While having a relaxed silhouette, it's not too loose, offering attractive clean lines. This 2-way design can be worn casually low on the hips or elegantly as high-waisted. It comes in two colors: the rich Snow Gray and the deep Indigo, which highlights the beauty of non-washed denim. Both colors are subtle yet exquisitely nuanced, enhancing any styling. Since each color offers a different vibe, we recommend getting both.
